Nana’s Rice Paella Recipe

- 2 cups of Nana’s Rice Short Grain
- Vegetables
- ½ cup of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of tomato concentrate/paste
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- Paprika
- White pepper
- Diced beef
- Clams
- Shrimps
Preparations
Step 1: Heat the oil in a saucepan over moderately high heat. Reduce heat to moderately low and add diced bee. Cook, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon or heatproof silicone spatula until it browns. Then stir in the diced sliced bell peppers, onions and carrots. Cook and stir frequently for 3 minutes or until the vegetables soften.
Step 2: Add the tomato paste and stir until dissolved. Gradually add about a half cup of water, then raise heat to medium-high. Bring to a boil, adding salt, paprika, and white pepper to taste. Also add two cups of washed Nana’s Rice, stir and leave to simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Add shrimps and clams and then cover with a foil. Turn the heat to low for about 15 minutes until it is done. Voila! Your Nana’s Rice Paella is ready.
