Find out how Agro Kings is engaging in climate-smart agriculture
You can’t deny the impact of climate change — but, I’m here to tell you that we at Agro Kings is taking bold steps in helping combat its effects. They’ve developed a plan for how their company will contribute towards this important goal, which involves increasing production capacity with actionable climate solution

Climate change is a major issue for humanity, and the way we produce food will be greatly affected by these changes. The United Nations has stated that in 2050 there are likely going to be 9.7 billion people on earth while Africa’s population is expected to triple from 1 billion up 3 or 4 times for 2–4 more billion inhabitants. According to their estimates of what happens with climate change continuing unchecked and influencing agriculture as it does now, experts say that if agricultural production doesn’t increase at least 50% over the next 30 years then our ability to feed all those billions may come into question.
Use of irrigation channels
Agro Kings has invested in a comprehensive irrigation system which ensures water availability all year round. This is over 40km in natural man-made canals carefully designed around the farm with an intentional focus on the With CSA’s goal of sustainable food production and water conservation. in mind, Agro Kings has invested in a 3km long canal for irrigation. This not only allows the company to farm all year round but also serves as part of an ingenious system built with sustainability at its core. Rice cultivation requires much more water (5000l/kg) than other crops. Because local droughts are common occurrences here due to high demand on water from rice cultivation (5000 litres per kilogram), which is needed just so much more than other crops, At Agro Kings, our irrigation engineering team designed our canals and drains to optimize water usage by it makes sense that they instituted measures like returning drained-backwaters into their main source supply while simultaneously draining excess water off fields during rainy seasons so lessens any potential effects this could have on soil quality or crop yield.
Use of renewable energy
Agro Kings has taken a stand against climate change by using Some of our farm houses and storage facilities are powered using solar energy. to power their farmhouses. Our warehouse and farm houses are constructed using reusable shipping containers. By reducing the production of pollutants and reducing its global carbon footprint, they are taking one step forward in making Earth greener and less polluted.
Planting trees, hybrid seeds and soybeans
The company, Agro Kings, is always on the lookout for ways to improve soil fertility through good agricultural practices. Specifically, they plant trees and soybeans around their farm that can help protect against windstorms or reduce carbon footprint emissions while boosting resilience in plants by sequestering atmospheric carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as well as providing nitrogen-rich residues which allow them to use fewer pesticides. Furthermore, using hybrid seeds resistant to disease allows them more flexibility when faced with environmental stressors like flooding and drought so that farmers can both maintain a resilient crop production system without sacrificing yield at all.
